My research topic will be losing OR  faking FRIENDSHIP: A CHOICE.

We have friends. All of us have one or two or even everybody as a friend.  This study can help everybody on realizing how friendship is important. In this study, a choice will be given from this qoute:

” If your afraid to love because of friendship, you have choices; either tell your feelings and let love take place or hide your feelings for a friendship full of pretending.

OBJECTIVE

This study aims to compare the decision of of a female respondent to the decision of a male respondent. A comparative study that aims to see how the two respondents will go into their decisions. This study aims to compare decision making which will be made by the two opposite sexes.

RESPONDENTS:

The respondents will be chosen randomly. From the researcher’s friendster account, a post containing this will be posted:

” If your afraid to love because of friendship, you have choices; either tell your feelings and let love take place or hide your feelings for a friendship full of pretending”.

Dear friends,

I will be needing two respondents for my research proposal for one of my subjects.

One female and one male respondent will satisfy my research. I need to have your opinion regarding to the quote given above. If you are interested on helping me with my research study, please do reply on this message.

I know a lot of you will help me but among all of those of you who will reply , I will only choose one female respondent and one male respondent each with very opposite opinions.

This study will be basing on Griffin’s Relationship  Maintenance Theories.

Methodology:

February 18, 2008   -  the message will be sent to the researcher’s friends on friendster.

Febraury 19-21, 2008 – random sampling of the two respondents.

February 22-25, 2008 – gathering of data from the two respondents., through the internet or personal meetings if internet access is not possible at this dates.

February 26-28, 2008 – data analysis and encoding.

February 29, 2008 – research paper finishing touches.

First week of March – publishing of the research
