We have friends. All of us have one or two or even everybody as a friend.  This study can help everybody on realizing how friendship is important. In this study, a choice will be given from this qoute:

OBJECTIVE

This study aims to compare the decision of of a female respondent to the decision of a male respondent. A comparative study that aims to see how the two respondents will go into their decisions. This study aims to compare decision making which will be made by the two opposite sexes.

RESPONDENTS:

The respondents will be chosen randomly. From the researcher’s friendster account, a post containing this will be posted:

Methodology:

February 18, 2008   -  the message will be sent to the researcher’s friends on friendster.

Febraury 19-21, 2008 – random sampling of the two respondents.

February 22-25, 2008 – gathering of data from the two respondents., through the internet or personal meetings if internet access is not possible at this dates.

February 26-28, 2008 – data analysis and encoding.

February 29, 2008 – research paper finishing touches.

First week of March – publishing of the research

What strikes on your mind when you receive bad news? That you got only six months to live your life or even earlier. How would you handle that breaking news which you did not expected? Will you just cry and grief in pain? Will you stop everything you used to do only because you already think that it will not make any worth at all? Or should you better start thinking of how would you tell this bad news to everybody you will sooner leave?

One of my favorite short stories is “ The Parting” written by Azona Gale. I love it because i is very heartwarming . I touched me in a way that I felt how great love a father could have and could offer for his daughter. I could not imagine that myself in the shoes of the dying father, probably I will feel pity and sad that maybe I would spend the next six months I have with crying and self-pitying making everybody around me feel bad and sad with my condition which is definitely the other way of how this dying father in the story handled the truth he could not refuse to accept.

Yes, he is dying and he is not going well. “ A man with a few months to live would like nice people to adopt his little girl; six, blue eyes”. He advertised in a city paper. He had thought of this overnight. He was left with no choice since his wife is already dead for two years and he only had six months left and there will be no one to care for his little girl.

It takes great love for a father to think for the bright future his little daughter instead of crying and trying not to believe with the truth that he is dying which most of those were dying did. It showed how he really loves his daughter and how he is very worried for the road his daughter would take knowing that he will not be beside her to guide and protect her. I like the story mainly because it gives a brave example of a dying father very much responsible that up to the last few months of his life, still he tries everything to choose the best choice of family which was the only thing heb could afford to do for the benefit of his little daughter. He gave his daughter to the poor couple instead to the rich ones who tried to adopt the child. He thought that his little girl will be much happier with the poor couple because ha saw so much love between the couple themselves and which will likely be given to his daughter unlike with what he noticed between the rich couple.

“The Parting” is a literature because it has a very artistic merit which I felt while reading the material. the art of letting the story flow within your nervesand appreciate it very well. It is a literature because it talks about life and its relative factors. It talks about how we accept life and its end as well. It is a literature because it is awork of art coming from a very inpirational story which isnspired many of us who read and felt it. It has a literary technique which brought and left effect on people and their insights.

Technology has been very helpful to us people. Just few days before Christmas I first saw my grandmother on my father side. I never saw her since I have my sight. I mean ever since, none of us from the primary family saw her and for the first time we saw each other using the yahoo messenger since that she is in Manila right now with her new family. I can see from the camera how happy she is seeing even only my mother and my four other siblings. She was looking for her offsprings but they were not there that time and my father was out of our contact but we promised to tell them about what she wants which is wanting to see them very soon. As simple as that, I received my greatest gift this Christmas.

I have this old friend of mine who is now studying in a university at United Kingdom. She was one of my closest friend during elementary and we have been classmates for I think three consecutive in a school where same students go every year so there really is the bonding that we build with each of us.

For financial reasons, I have to transfer so until I we became freshmen we never communicated til such time that I found her friendster account on one of my friends in my friends list and from there we cconstantly talk with each other trying to make up with the lost times together.
